The charming boutique hotel Canaleta Heras is the personal creation of the famous interior designer, Josep Canaleta, the Ampurdán which is every inch a Spaniard. The hotel is located in the center of the L’Albera Nature Reserve. The creation takes shape in a stately 17th century house situated next to the village church. With the recognizable characteristics of the regional architecture, its surrounding parks and gardens, its sunny and peaceful swimming pool and its bright and Mediterranean interior, the rustic skeleton becomes imbued with the modernist coloring and progress.
